John Harter

I don't usually title my work, but this one would have to be "Portrait of an Artist, Framed".

John is very prolific, and usually has 6 to 10 canvases on the wall in his studio at one time, working on all of them, all of them an expression of a specific idea, a series of paintings executed all at once. When he finishes the 'series' -- about a month's time -- he moves on to another idea. His goal is to never repeat himself. So far as I can tell, he hasn't.
