Dick & Jane's Spot

Dick Elliott, sculptor, and Jane Orleman, painter, 1984

Dick and Jane have carved their  niche in Ellensburg, Washington. Their house and yard are so full of sculpture of many varieties that it has become a tourist attraction for many who visit this small college town. Tourists pass by in cars all day long, and there is a kiosk on the corner with an address book where tourists leave their names.

Dick and Jane have become political art activists in their home town, and were primarily responsible for bringing certain public art to Ellensburg. They have purchased many of the sculptures in their yard, and are tremendous supporters of all of the arts.
