Antje Kaiser

 painter, 1996

Antje was one of the warmest and most spiritual people I've known. German, born during WWII, she felt a tremendous responsibility for the holocaust, and close family members dealing with homosexuality and AIDS bred in her a tremendous empathy for anyone in pain. This empathy is what fueled her personally, and artistically. She, a victim of breast cancer, is still being missed by many people.
