When Angie Dixon heard I was showing installation art,
she called me and told me that she had something to say that she had been
thinking about for some time. She was thoroughly annoyed with the way
people, and especially smokers, left the many public beaches in our area.
So she came to my gallery with several tons of sand, a great many 'hand
rolled' cigarettes in various sizes, several gallon jars full of smoked
cigarettes collected from her favorite pub, and two papier mache crows,
one of which would lay dead, feet up, for the duration, and turned my
gallery into a very littered beach.
My cat, by the way, knew exactly what to do with the
sand!
